Not at all. Every class at Body Design is designed for ALL fitness levels — from complete beginners to more experienced participants. Everything can be modified to suit where you are right now. Showing up is the only requirement.
You can book online through our WellnessLiving portal at wellnessliving.com/signup/bodydesign. You can also call us at 905-715-0009 or email info@bodydesign.ca and we'll help you get registered.
For in-person classes, missed sessions can be made up anytime during the session at no extra charge. Online classes include a recording so you never miss the content — watch at your own pace whenever it suits you.
Late registrations are warmly welcomed and prices are pro-rated based on the remaining classes in the session. Contact us to find out what the current pro-rated price would be, and we'll get you started right away.
For yoga classes: a yoga mat is recommended (some may be available at the venue — contact us to confirm). Wear comfortable, breathable clothing. For training classes, your instructor will let you know of anything specific before your first session. When in doubt, ask — we're happy to help first-timers feel prepared.
Absolutely. Body Design specialises in inclusive fitness for all ages and ability levels. Our instructors are trained to offer modifications for every exercise, and several hold specific certifications in seniors fitness, osteoporosis, and corrective exercise. If you have a specific health concern, contact us before joining and we'll direct you to the class and instructor best suited to your needs.
